Head through the door and follow it down. You should see a sign reading “Security” above the door in front of you. When you see a room ahead, enter and turn right. If you enter from the cooling tower, head left then left again and up the ramp. Once you’re inside the Power Plant, you’ll need to head for the security office which is located on the upper levels and central to the other sections of the plant. In the video below I show you the path to take inside the Power Plant if you enter through the cooling tower, however, there are multiple paths to take, which you’ll find once you explore. It’s a bit of a rat’s nest inside and does take some time to fully explore and know your way around, but once you do, worrying about Rads becomes much less of an issue. It’s what’s inside that is most exciting though, especially if you’re trying to get rid of Rads. The Powering Up Poseidon Event requires you to repair broken parts of the plant and when complete provides enough power to run the Fusion Core extractor located outside. Located south-west of Flatwoods and north-west of AVR Medical Centre and Charleston, the Poseidon Energy Plant is the site of the Poseidon Energy Plant Yard workshop and the Event Powering Up Poseidon. It all starts with a trip to the Poseidon Energy Plant. What’s better is that you don’t need to craft any items, you don’t need to find Radaway and you don’t need to worry about the number of Rads you’ve taken. So in Fallout 76 how to get rid of Rads is actually pretty simple, though it does require some exploration.

Rads are the bane of every Fallout 76 player, especially since Radaway seems to be so scarce.

This means your health bar is smaller and you might even be suffering from a mutation. In Fallout 76 you often find that your character has been irradiated extensively.
